About Animated Weather Icons v4

MetGraphics Animated Weather Icons v4 has been designed from the ground up using elements from the fifth version of standard icons to bring cloud design & physics up another step from version 3. AWI v4 now features something that’s been long awaited: the ability to loop quite seamlessly.

This means the clouds or other major parts of the icon won’t open and close every time the animation starts again. Now, the primary parts of each icon animation will seamlessly continue on.

The physics for precipitation are now derived straight from After Effects itself instead of using image format precipitation elements and animating those. The precipitation physics in After Effects itself are able to be tweaked in many ways on the fly if you have access to AE. Otherwise, you’ll notice more dynamic precipitation effects using the .MOVs on your forecast graphics.
